I was bored of the white kitchen cupboards (we are not allowed to repaint anything as yet, as per lease) and small round silver metal knobs, so while at the thrift store I found some "kiddie" knob pulls -- blue bows, green stars, cup cakes, teddie bears, footballs, moon, daisies, and even one sheep. I actually found enough for all the doors and drawers (except for the very top 6 cubby hole doors that I cannot reach and the two by the dishwasher). This morning I changed out the knobs. They look silly, but add a splash of pastle color to the kitchen now. At 50 cents each, I figured "what the hell" and bought them. They will work for another year, or until I get bored with them.
